3D Video Doctrine

For the NBF Play the People project in Guangzhou, I worked together with Paul Segers to build a 3D video game. The former Communist Party building where the exhibition was held had a large hall with a big podium at one end of the room. At the other end was a mezzanine that looked out toward the podium. Tom Beterams built a bunker up there, from which people could use a wooden game console to control our sculptures at the far end of the hall and play a Space Invaders-inspired game. The 3D video monitor would show the score and flash the text 3D Video Doctrine in Chinese characters.
